What to know
- Sit for a few minutes before standing; stand slowly to avoid a postural drop.
- Check needle sites for bleeding before covering with a dressing.
- Watch for delayed bleeding for several hours, particularly if you are anticoagulated.
- Rehydrate and eat as advised, within your prescribed fluid allowance.
- Complete the session log while it is fresh.
