For healthcare professionals
Refer a patient, or work with us
Trivita takes referrals from nephrologists, hospital discharge teams, insurers and assistance companies across the UAE. This page covers how referral works, what standards we hold, and where our technical education sits.
Referral
How a referral runs
Most referrals are accepted or declined within one working day. We will tell you plainly if a patient is not suitable for home care rather than accepting and escalating later.
Send the referral
Clinical summary, current prescription, access details and insurance status to our coordination desk.
Clinical review
A Trivita physician reviews suitability against home-care criteria and comes back to you with a decision.
Home and access assessment
For dialysis referrals we survey water, power and space, and review the vascular access.
Transfer of care
Written plan agreed with you, with defined escalation thresholds and a route back to hospital.
Clinical standards
What we commit to
Credentialing
Every clinician is licensed with the health authority for the Emirate they practise in, with documented competency assessment on each protocol they deliver.
Written protocols
Every service runs to a protocol signed off by the Medical Director. Protocols are versioned and reviewed on a fixed cycle.
Escalation thresholds
Each home care plan defines the clinical thresholds that trigger escalation, and the named route back into hospital.
24/7 clinical cover
A clinician — not an answering service — is reachable at all hours, including for referrers.
Reporting back
Referrers receive structured updates and a discharge summary at the end of an episode of care.
Incident reporting
Adverse events are logged, investigated and reported to the relevant authority under our quality framework.
Technical modules
Education used in our own clinical programme
These modules carry the operational and clinical detail. They are open to any clinician — we would rather the standard was shared than proprietary.
Machine Operation & Maintenance
Setup, priming, disinfection, alarms, supplies and record keeping.
The Treatment Session
Running a session start to finish, and managing what happens during it.
Emergency Preparedness
Planning for machine failure, power cuts, bleeding, and the day you need a hospital.
Monitoring & Long-term Care
Bloods, adequacy, medications, comorbidities and the path to transplant.
