What to know
- Chest pain, severe breathlessness, or an irregular heartbeat.
- Bleeding that will not stop with sustained direct pressure.
- Loss of consciousness, confusion, seizure or new weakness.
- Fever with rigors, particularly with a catheter in place.
- A missed session combined with breathlessness or significant swelling.
