Monthly reviews are where the prescription is actually adjusted — home dialysis is independent, not unsupervised.
What to know
- Typically monthly with your nephrologist, plus nursing and technical visits at home.
- Bring your session log, current medication list and any questions written down.
- Expect review of adequacy, dry weight, access, anaemia, bone markers and blood pressure.
- Reschedule rather than skip — gaps in review are where problems accumulate.
